Wadjak Northside Aboriginal Resource Centre
\The Wadjak Northside Community Resource Centre was officially opened in November 2015.
The Centre is a place of belonging for our local Aboriginal community members. The Centre is open during school term time Monday to Thursday between 9am - 2pm. There are additional opening hours for specific activities, meetings and events. See our calendar below for program schedule. It is being used by groups such as Dardy Yorga Womens Group and the Wudjoo Elders Group to hold regular meetings. Various activities are running from the Centre including the KidFAST and Cultural Pathways program. Moorditj Djena - the mobile foot and diabetes education clinic - visits the Centre monthly. Many more services and activities are being planned at the Centre in consultation with members of our local community. The Centre can be booked for presentations, meetings and small events. Work has started on developing the outdoor space at the Centre and will continue in the coming months. Come along with your energy and ideas to help in creating a great outdoor space at the Centre. |
